String cities
This installation is intended to be explorative and interactive, allowing children to create their own forms and shapes of buildings and structures using metal pegs and coloured thread. The visual of a landscape is pasted on the peg board table, containing rivers, ponds and greenscapes. This allows for interesting challenges to be posed - for instance, the instructors asked children to build a reservoir around the water body, construct waterways from the pond to houses etc. Children created a variety of shapes and forms which was beautiful to watch.,
