The Schools Challenge program 2020-21: Solving problems in the community using a design thinking approach

The brief was to design a curriculum for a new program planned by Agastya Foundation in collaboration with JP Morgan.

This program for 6 - 9th standard students aims to sensitise students to challenges and problems occurring in our communities and neighbourhood, during the times of the pandemic and to provide them with the toolkit and skillset to solve these problems by adopting a design thinking approach.

The deliverables in this project was to create a full fledged curriculum, a student workbook and a design thinking toolkit.

Research and Development

Stage 1

Setting expectations for a design thinking kit+curriculum, designing a framework for the same.

 

Stage 2

Brainstorming every segment of the curriculum i.e., exercises, activities and the materials required to execute each activity.
