Nikitaa Sivaakumar

Design Entrepreneur and Innovator

Nikitaa has a background in engineering and the arts. She has a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NIT Trichy, India and an MFA in Design from University of California Davis, USA. She is also the recipient of prestigious awards and scholarships like:

DAAD 2014, OPJEMS 2014, Blum Grant 2016, Big Ideas award 2017, Innovator in Residence Fellowship SELCO Foundation 2018, NIDHI-Entrepreneur in Residence Fellowship by Govt. of India 2023, Emergent Ventures Grant Recipient 2024.

She is the Founder of Wonder Yonder Research and Design Private Limited and is based in the beautiful hill town of Kotagiri in the Nilgiris.

She has over 7 years of experience working with children across 3-18 years and has created STEM workshop content, learning aids, curriculum content, interactive STEM exhibits, STEM based toys, games and storybooks.

Her goal is to make learning engaging and fun for children and adults alike. She has a penchant for the Sciences and aims at making it accessible to everyone through visual narrative and storytelling.
